Lorena Quintero
Vinyasa + Hatha + Kirtan + 1:1 Sessions
Lorena is the founder & guiding heart behind Casa Copal. A visionary, seeker, dreamer.
A devoted student of yoga since 2009, Lorena's path has been shaped by over 1,000 hours of training and a deep reverence for the roots of the practice. Her studies span traditional Hatha, Tantra, Bhakti, and Yoga Philosophy, guided by teachers from India, Nepal, Mexico, and beyond.
Her journey has taken her from the temples of India to the Andes of Peru, from the Ganges to the Mexican jungles, where each pilgrimage became a process of remembering—of shedding and returning. Whether immersed in silent retreats, trekking sacred mountains, or chanting beside rivers, Lorena carries with her the teachings of the land, her teachers, and the wisdom keepers who have generously shared their lineages.
Rooted in devotion, her offerings are an invitation to come home to the heart—through movement, mantra, breath, and stillness. Lorena believes in yoga as a path of liberation, love, and collective awakening, and she is honored to share these practices in a way that is both respectful and alive.
Her practice is guided by devotion, and her dharma is to create spaces where we can remember the sacred—together.

David Ming
Lunar Flow + Kirtan + Sound
Yoga is a way of holding two seemingly contradictory forces as a balanced and unified whole. Not an easy task as the forces are constantly changing. In my life, yoga shows up as: observing, contemplating (aka over analyzing Virgo), letting go.. finding ebb and flow in the three. Sometimes smooth, sometimes rocky, usually both.I aim to cultivate space where we explore chi flow in breath and body..
with stillness, awareness, silence, sound..
To foster a mood of showing up on your mat as an act of devotion to your Self..
Where we may accept, embrace, give thanks to the parts of us we have outgrown.. and are growing into.
My meandering life path has blessed me with meeting many different teachers and practices. I am a student and practitioner of throat chakra lineage, under the tutelage of Naad Yogi Gurnimit Singh.
All this to say, I am a fellow seeker of what it means to live this human life.

Wendy Issa
Hatha + Vinyasa + 1:1 Breathwork
Compassionate, healing-oriented, story-lover, rhythm; an eternal believer, balancing the want and the need.
Wendy’s offerings are a direct language to the heart; intuitive, ever-expanding, and above all safe in nature. Her teachings have taken her to many beautiful places within Canada; around North, South, and Central America; and the Caribbean introducing her to many fabulous human beings along the way.
In 2012 in Costa Rica, she did her first Teacher Training. Since then, she has been leading classes, workshops, and retreats. She has had many mentors besides her family; Wendy studied under the umbrella of great teachers including Dharma Mittra, Seane Corn, Leslie Kaminoff, and Ashley Ludman. She considers herself an “eternal student”.
Her style of teaching/coaching is a direct reflection of who she is. Directness with a brush of humour and a lot of empathy make her offerings a safe place to start peeling away the layers that are no longer needed and discovering our true nature.

Her journey has taken her on spiritual pilgrimages through Bali, where she completed her 500 hours of training, and India, where she immersed herself in sacred teachings and devotional practices, living the life of a yogi. She has brought home a wealth of knowledge and tools from these sacred parts of the world, which she incorporates in both her public classes and her sadhana (daily practice).
In her classes, you’ll find mantra, mythology, and pranayama, as well as mindful movement—creating a space to reconnect to the self. Hannah shares from a place of reverence, inviting students to experience yoga as both a personal journey and a sacred remembrance.

Paige Hamel
Hatha
Paige is a dedicated Yoga Teacher and Homeopath who offers a deeply personal and adaptive approach to both yoga and healing. Trained in multiple styles—including Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin—she emphasizes bioindividuality, recognizing that every body, mind, and spirit is unique.
Her classes blend Western anatomy with Eastern spirituality, honouring both the science of the body and the wisdom of ancient traditions. Drawing from her background in homeopathy, Paige brings a rich understanding of health, healing, anatomy and physiology to support students holistically. Additionally, she weaves in insights from Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Buddhism, and Yogic philosophy, distilling these sometimes complex traditions into accessible, digestible, and meaningful teachings.
Paige incorporates storytelling, poetry, and reflective teachings to create a nourishing space where students are invited to listen deeply, meet themselves with compassion, and attune to the kind of support they need in each moment. For her, yoga is more than movement—it’s a practice of self-awareness, presence, deep connection and transformation.

Anita Callahan
Vinyasa + Tarot Readings
When I was young, I loved dancing and making up my own stretches. At the time, I had no idea there was a name for what I was doing. One day I stumbled across a classic yoga book of my Uncles and flipped through the pages fascinated at postures like Crow, Cobra and Down Dog. I didn't know these poses would keep reappearing in my life, and I didn't ever really pursue yoga as I grew, it just kept finding me. I believe yoga is present naturally in all of us if we can quiet our minds to hear it. For me, the beauty of yoga is not just to move your physical body, but to encourage the moving and shifting on a mental and spiritual level too.
When you come to my class, you will experience a strong foundation of alignment, but I hope you sweat, laugh and enjoy some freedom too. I will remind you to breathe, and breathe deeply. I enjoy exploring poses and flowing movement. I am truly a guide to help move you through a sequence and I hope the end result will be that we all find a little more clarity for our everyday lives, because that is when you know yoga is at work. Anita is a certified RYT-500, having completed her 200hr training in 2013 with Y-Yoga, and her 300hr advanced training with Christine Price Clark at the Vancouver School of Yoga and Massage in 2014.

Harry Shrimpton
Hatha
I have been a student of Yoga for 11 years, and found it while studying Kinesiology and playing collegiate soccer. The physical benefits of the Hatha and Vinyasa practices were immediate, which helped balance my body after years of competitive sports. My love for Yin Yoga followed thereafter, opening a deeper connection to my Self and solidifying the pillars of rest and stillness in my life. I grew up in beautiful BC and will forever call it home. It has been a joy to share Yoga across BC, and especially Vancouver where I completed my Yoga Teacher Training. When not enjoying the inner peace of home or the yoga studio, I love being outside and witnessing the wonders of nature.
Students can expect an easeful and kinesthetic practice supporting self-study. I invite a calm atmosphere to support healing of mind, body, & spirit.
